Learned this from a friend. What a fun idea to bring this someone's house this Christmas! This happens to be Chicken Pot Pie, but how fun to make apple, or another variety. Also, this was a nice pie to receive after we had just had our first baby. You could write the baby's initials on it instead?
I'm wondering now about mostly baking a pumpkin pie and then carefully laying on a cut out monogramed letter from extra crust and baking a little longer... Hmmm, might have to try that tonight.
I cut shapes out of my crusts, fall leaves for pumpkin pie, stars, flowers, hearts....
