So much contemporary stuff hits the spot for me. I love many, many hymns but in both contemporary and not there are lyrics that don't quite do it for me. Some hymns say things that I don't agree with or are just bad theology but I grew up singing those harmonies so don't mind singing them on my own for the memories. Then there are newer songs that say almost nothing and repeat over and over. I am also married to a lyric critic which taints my possible love for all music! :)
I love Casting Crowns. Yummy!

Be Thou my vision O Lord of my heart. Naught be all else to me save that thou art.. Thou my best thought by day or night. Waking or sleeping thou presence my light.

They may be in "code" language sometimes but I want my life to embody these words!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00426965891801882709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199033228242019339.post-54212632216037304932008-06-16T20:07:00.000-07:002008-06-16T20:07:00.000-07:00usually contemp.,but I do love some classic hymns!...usually contemp.,but I do love some classic hymns! =)Our growing familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06904231434767296992noreply@blogger.com
