Well, we are recovering today after our fabulous trip "down south" to see Cousin S. We left mid afternoon on Friday and got hit with awful traffic near Tacoma. It took an extra hour or so to get through it. Yuck.
We had an awesome salmon dinner at Uncle T and Aunt M's Friday night. The kids loved seeing them as well as Cousin S and G. They also got to see little D walking around for the first time. Thanks Cousin S and Uncle T and Aunt M for the great birthday presents for the kids. That is all they want to play with right now.
Saturday was the shower which was lots of fun. Fun to see a couple people that I hadn't seen for a very long time. I bet Cousin S is still recovering from the weekend as well, especially since she had another shower the next day! She will be "due" in a couple months; June 1st, I think.
It was great my parents came, Papa helped with the kids during the shower. I went to check on them and B told be to leave because he was playing with Papa only! He also took them to Cabellas with D and Uncle T Saturday night and they love that store. They had been there before, but it was Papa's first time. I hear that he will be going back!
OK, that was it, just the weekend update! (Oh, and the kids all went to bed at 6 PM Sunday night after we got home!!)
